I vote for 2 weeks for teams to sort out when to play but also a specific season (even if it's loose-ish) as that will allow for new teams.
And that the 2 teams have to post on the league blog when and where their game is asap, so people can come bring them beer and shout abuse watching them.
Perhaps also on the night of the game, whatever spare person there is there is nominated by the teams to sort out any disagreements by the teams. No need for refs or anything, but just in case there is a disagreement, then there's one person there who the teams agree to let sort it out if they can't do it themselves.... but I'm against refs. At least for now.
