  • Yeah, I am not suggesting that you/we need to have 30 people to write the rules, but most people are going to want to have a say. Much better to canvas as much opinion as possible before any meeting, draw up an agenda, which is public, and then work it through.

    In my experience of messenger organisation (which is similar to the polo thing, although not identical), the problems start when people start to believe, whether rightly or wrongly, that things are being decided in secret. If it's all out in the open, and everyone has had their chance to contribute, then it cuts out a lot of unneccessary bs.

    I suggest that a deadline of Weds next week is set for submissions, questions etc and then draw it all up in an agenda form for consideration by the meeting.

    when i get everyone's email addresses i can email them all telling them about the meeting and the deadline for questions, and other information. Do you think i could add all the emails from the tournament emails we recently had?
