I worked as a waiter for a few years and the nutter in the flat who sold me gear signed on with a rare injuryl; He couldn't carry out physical work, and sitting down for lenghty periods gave him shooting back pains (unless he was on the playstation with a joint and cider, one of those strange medical oddities)
He did the math and worked out it would be impossible for him to get into work on a starter salary that would sustain his current income. Math wasn't his strong point but this situtation made for a good Daily Mail style rant.

Fitter & Turner tradesman but gave it up to live a life of Rock&Roll as a Light/Sound/AV tech. I just got back from V festival & now I'm off to Reading . Last week at Studios in West London I was at rehearsals with Madonna next door to OASIS jamming for a few days & AC/DC were filming a video in there as well .....
