I'm in. Looking forward to this a lot (and also slightly trepidatious doing some of those hills on fixed!).

nice one clintsmoker. and hippy for sticking it in the calendar.
i have spoken to a few people about this so reckon on a few more getting along.
note. this ain't one for you first go at trying riding fixed in the hills. at a minimum you need to at least be able to get yourself up HHW without having to stop at the top for 20 minutes praying for your lungs to come back. having said that as long as you are happy to dose up on a bit of HTFU you will love this ride.
will put up map later.

The BBC forecast this morning said showers would die out through the early evening and it'd be a clear night.
Okay this is the same night ride me and jonny did the other week in the north downs.
train from waterloo is at 7.30pm to effingham junction (usually platform 3 and about £8 return)
ride is approx 30 miles takes 2hr 45 mins with a couple of 5 min stops
Loads of hills and vert tiring
must be back for last train from effingham at 11.30pm or it's a 20 mile ride home
have decent lights because it is very dark with trees overhanging country lanes and you might not want to be too close on the down hills and there might be some distancing on the uphills
Hopefully jonny will post the map when he reads this.
see you there
