I've just broken a Specialized Toupe Team which I was going to change due to comfort issues anyway. I've heard that they aren't up to the extra loads involved in fixed riding and this would seem to confirm that. It's a carbon saddle as well, not very impressed! The shell cracked almost the whole way across, from the back left wing almost into the gap in the middle. Warranty time methinks.
I'm going to try the Fizik Arione, I know a number of roadies that use it and swear by it's comfort. I'm going to get on it ASAP as I will now be using it for Dunwich and I want to get my sweet behind used to it before that.
I broke my Spec Toupe after 14 months of commuting 8 miles each way; actually a gradual break over this time with it cracking and splitting from both corners. Replaced it with a new Toupe, which I fully anticipate will split in time. To be expected from a super lightweight seat, I'm afraid.

Comfiest saddle ever; even for 5 hour club runs.
