so don't go there again. Stockwell Road is only a short roll away and you can have a sniff round Edwardes while you're over there. Cavendish is central if they're too far. There are better value, more knowledgable and much friendlier places in London. Lots of people know that.
I wouldn't have posted about it really. I just wouldn't shop there again - but actually stick to that. Why go to spend your hard-earned in a place that will see you feeling annoyed and belittled on your way out? Unfortunately it seems to be attempting to cultivate the kind of sniffy atmosphere that high-fashion boutiques and rare record shops used to, before a few people did it with smiles and chats and started wiping them out. I feel sorry for the guys working out the back who are trying to do a good job and having it fucked by the some of the worst shopfloor staff in London. To be openly rude to customers is instant dismissal in most places, and most places are - I'm sorry to put it out there - a lot more stressful environments than a "boutique" specialist bike shop, they really are. Just think Top Girl over christmas and then think of the sixteen-year-olds working long shifts for minimum pay.
