That I like. I would ride it, but I fear it is too shiny for London - would be a theft magnet.

Those city bikes look very bad in my opinion. Although I never liked the London, some of the other cities looked really sweet. The NYC was very striking. These new ones look very messy.

that is truly a bad looking bike not just in the sence of it being a langster and but generally that is a horrible looking bike.

Don't really care too much about the colours (although I like the gold stem and brakes on the 2nd one), but the geometry is pure horrorshow.

Oh man.
The inspiration for those is just so blandly obvious.

1. "Wow look at all these amazing engraved Japanese bike parts. That would look GREAT on a langster."

2. "How about 'CASINO', you know like how Colnago has all those playing card icons? We can use poker chips! It'll be SWEET."

3. "Mike Giant is into riding fixed. Lets rip him off."

the 'normal' langster looks like a bianchi pista rip-off.

I think they look cool. something a bit different?

paintjobs: meh. geometry is all wrong for the styling.

#3 looks a bit like vinylvillan's bike...

you know, if the geometry was slightly less like an armchair, and slightly more like a track bike or even had more traditional road angles, i wouldn't care so much.

but as it stands, they're an abomination.

i just noticed the mauve hubs on the last one. oh no!

i commend their designers effort, to make them so damn ugly. i doubt i could do it. big wigs must be like, wow, they're soo cool.

i think they will appeal mainly to people who dont really ride bikes, which is the main thing..

The middle one certainly is a gamble... will eveyone laugh or think its 'cool'?

can"t be as worse as a Bianchi Pista mind.

Note the Bianchi Pista is chromed, not brush aluminium.
Brushed aluminium won't fare well through an english winter.
I'm surprised Specialized have continued the city theme....i see very few 'London' Langsters about town. I bet Bob Jackson / Mercian are rubbing their hands together in expectation of all the spin-off orders the style conscious new 'fixies' will place, once they realise the error of their ways.

Me: I'm still patiently waiting for my 'classic!' 2006 Wrongster to break. 10,000+ miles and no cracks yet......though its a little like Triggers broom in every other respect!
