Have just read the rest of the therad after replying to stelle, so apologies if the timing was off!
For what it's sowrth, I totally agree with roxy and chandra's comments up the top there and think they get a rough deal on here sometimes even though every woman on here that I have met has been incredibly cool, strong, independent and generally ace.
Having said that, I have to just try and laugh at all the sexist (and homophobic), pre-feminist urr-humour rather than let it wind me up. Probably easier for me, being a straight guy.
Also, right on to momentum - I tooka similar option myself although I'm far too much of an atheist, lefty, feminist to actually get married. :-)
