  • Me and at least 5 other people i know had issues with the same dude, it's not a surprise he was arrogant with you, think the only surprise is that BC still keep paying his wages instead of telling him to look for another job, maybe work with kids, so he can learn how to be polite.

Suggest you join the club and boycott BC, just ride your bike 5min more and go to Edwardes in Camberwell, they got some good mechanics in there too, and friendly staff!

    +1

    Love Edwardes tbh with you

  • To Me, I am the person that served you. My name is Ross, I wish to apologise for the service you feel you received at Brixton cycles.
    Ross, Brixton cycles.

  • There you go, all done and dusted. Much respect to Ross! :-)

  • Ha! This thread went from normal-stupid to unusually-absurd.

  • High respect to you 99. Most people in this country don't apologise, because they think it shows weakness. Just for your act, I WILL come to your shop and buy stuff, because you've shown that you're a business that can listen. Not all do.

In fact, how's that for a tag?

BRIXTON CYCLES - We go the extra mile

  • That is if 99 is who hje says he is! Not sure how you can prove this, do you have a mole on one buttock or something?

  • Jeez. That IS Ross. His old call sign was 99. Respect is due to him for publicly apologising. End of.

I wonder if he would do the same if the guy returned to the shop? I guess not.

  • toby why is your first thought always the buttock?

  • pram... over; toys... everywhere.

  • High horse and get off, darling.

  • toby why is your first thought always the buttock?

... that, and dale naked with nutella for some reason ????? Am i weird? ;)

  • I love the internet

  • hah! what a load of shite...

incidently my 2ps : BC = good. But then I havnt had bad experiences in any bikeshops really.

  • fair dues to Ross for sticking his head above the parapet and apologising -

personally I've only had good dealings with BC and think that they should be recognised for the co-op nature of the shop and their general attitude to lending out tools

  • BC all the way...you gotta support the independents

    i'll have a Red Stripe

Well done Ross ! Very good that you apologised, and hopefully you will learn something from it.

  • :-D

    Let's get Ross an ice-cream!

  • considering that was 99's first post, and he didn't try and sell anything, i think he deserves a medal.

  • a medal with ice-cream on top, and a flake?

    :-)

  • There's not gonna be killing? BOOOOORRIIIIIING! :P

  • Ross is a nice guy. Hush.

  • Ross is so hot! You can go where you like (except Evans-they're crap), but Ross is the dreamiest bike mechanic in London.

  • i can't believe 'me' deleted his original post...that is bollocks.
