Unlucky! I thought you'd just about got the weather. Such is the way of Herne Hill tho.
Just to note - there is racing every Monday and Wednesday at the track, kick-off around 6.30pm. You need a racing licence for Monday, but you can turn up and race on the Wednesdays (the 'Go Race' races).
That said, there's a lot to be said for having the track to yourselves ... I might even sneak along to the next one ... you'll probably recognise me by my lycra!

Right, here are the available dates...
15th June
29th June
6th July
27th July
3rd Aug
10th Aug
17th Aug
Shall I bother doing a poll? 15th or 29th June sounds good to me, earlier the better really... Thoughts? -

Finally found some time to piece together Sunday afternoon...
The LifeSaver
I think this is Peckham Pirate trying to work out which way round the track he should cycle:
General Flim Flammery
Retreating to the pub
and a close up (sadly i couldn't photograph the flies) of the sun.
Family Slain
Emilie trying to escape the advances of the Child Catcher/Slave Master, who genuinely loved track bikes
Apart from Skoota, who went over the road to listen to tunes? I've forgotten his screen name.

who is General Flim Flammery? i don't think i've met him
-
• #567
chris you asking my screen name or phil... who came across the rd to listen to tunes.
-
• #568
And, no Brendan, it was Phil's name I'd forgotten in the haze.
