a film camera - I only shoot films since digital hasn't yet reach to the point where it can replace film (hence depth of field is much narrower in film, you can't get that with digital compact at all).
think about it thought;
digital camera - big downhill mountain bike (or uber lightweight carbon-fibre £5,000 racing bike)
film camera - singlespeed/fixed gear, especially without brake.
