He's got a point... we could just help people. Yeah some people get it wrong, but to pounce before we're sure or not whether someone is trying to wind us up or lay a joke on us... or whether they're really serious.
My workmate asked me where is a good place to buy a bike last week. He asked whether Argos is OK? Or should he go to a bike shop like Halfords? His budget was £150. Full of the right spirit (getting on a bike), but a little in shock after I told him that he should double his budget and at least go to Evans.
Point is... go easy, we're still in that early part of summer where newbies want to get on bikes. Even if it's not our thing and we don't want to touch the bike they'd buy, we should at least show courtesy towards other soon-to-be cyclists, no?
