My first ever fixed-wheel is languishing in the DHL depot in Vauxhall (they tried to deliver it on Thurs and Fri last week but yours truly was at work). Fortunately I have a mate called Dan who has a van (I can highly recommend them, everyone should have one). I feel very excited. I was going to say 'I feel like a 5 year old' but that just sounds wrong.

I'm intrigued to see how the wheels (which are widely known to be a bit poo) stand up to my, ahem, 19 stone. And how many of those 19 stone start to disappear over the coming weeks. It'll be interesting if nothing else!
