A minor point about producing a real Cockney child. Unless the wind was very strong you won't hear The Great Bell of Bow which is the marker for being a Cockney. You need to have been born within the sound of that and unless your progeny was born at Barts then they are not a Cockney. Loads of people get that fact mixed up and think that being born near Bow E3 is the qualifier.
By the way I was not born in London but having lived here for 48 years I reckon that makes me more of a Londoner than most on the forum. Not even living in N21 can really disqualify me.
