well..the demographics of London have changed quite a lot in the last 50 or so years.
a lot of 'true' Londoners (white, working class i assume you mean) left to places like Essex after the second world war, when living conditions were bad and London/the east end became a haven for immigrants from all over the world.
but most people living in London are born and bred. i think around 33% of London were born abroad.
