I just work in a shop that sells all types of clipless shoes, so I have a bit of a routine when it comes to explaining why anyone would want a 'hybrid' shoe when you can get more performance oriented ones for a similar price. And your 'truth' idea just got me going. neat concept, and something I think I apply in a lot of my daily life, without having labelled it before.
