  • sounds like fun was had - sorry i couldn't be there. V jealous now, but will be there at dawn's crack next year for sure. well done guys

  • karma? fucking hell I'd better not kill any kittens then

  • Yeah, my fault probably. I did change my forum name from andyf, but broke the golden rule by not putting it in brackets after my new name.

There just seems to be an abundance of Andrew's on this forum.

  • Oh well, glad that was resolved!

There are also 2 people with the initals asm - but I got there first, Ha!

RPM, kill kittens, and God will rain puppies from the sky at you.

  • Crisp and sunny ride.
Here a rough set of images http://www.flickr.com/photos/61651603@N00/sets/72157604512131926/
I am off to watch George Hincapie snatch P-R

  • ok I need help!
There were 2 andys (cornelius and Lebowski)
    Also + more importantly:
Forum name of charge plug rider with brown shorts/ blue jumper Zazkar (will)
    I guess Lebowski= aussie andy
Hillbilly = other plug rider + real name

I'm so sorry, but I'm shit with names.
    really really bad.

    Cheers!

  • Charge Plug, brown shorts, blue jumper, that was me; Will

  • dammit, wish i'd read this thread 24 hours earlier..!

    Next year, next year.

  • I'm sure you can fix it, JimL

  • eyebrows, you are a star. great job on the video. just for the record not to re-render the footage, fn: claus rn: Mirco

  • oh shit sorry.
I thought that it was cos when we met at tower bridge I remember you saying.
also 'follow claus' was a general slogan of the day!

  • Yes mate! Good work Eyebrows.

  • no worries, it was also suggested that the forum name should be engraved on the bike. well, in my case is, right at the chamfered end of the right seat stay. so 'follow claus" is perfectly applicable

  • All the photos:
    link.
It was a good, good day.

  • I'm sure you can fix it, JimL

OK, how long have you been waiting to use this one? Good timing...

    :p

  • Chris - on the topic of art, what exactly do you think i'm going to do with the 12 dildos? :)

aidans sister, still she wont be impressed, she has been with me.

  • GUYS!

Me and the bro lost you lot heading down the embankment.. it was his first time out since december, and I got to bed at 3am the night before, so we were struggling a bit and the gap was getting bigger between us and you, then two coppers chased us down and told us to turn off, we did, then bumrushed it and made it all the way to Buckingham Palace and the grand finale of the Mall only to turn the corner and run full pelt into a wall of police doing a 'bomb sweep' and two pissed off army men.

Hope you all made it round safe and sound, felt amazing to be on the open roads with all of you. I got a couple of photo's that I'll sort in a moment.

    cheers!

  • All of the photo's are in my profile thingy under marathon ridem here are a couple

    At the start

    red bull break

After losing you and getting stopped by the man we hit the greasey spoon

Thoroughly enjoyable guys, will definitely do it again next year!

  • you can't call the police "the man" if you have a picture of yourself with any member of the royal family

  • the bean ratio on that breakfast is way out of hand.

I hate it when places give you one rasher of bacon, one sausage then fill the plate to overflowing with cheap ,(and worse, sometimes cold or lukewarm) baked beans.

  • Tell me about it, all i wanted was sausage and toast but they didn't do custom orders

  • CHUG_IT - mate, sorry to have lost you. We got carried away with the open roads and broke the golden rule of lfgss rides: leave no man behind.

The reason those two army men were pissed off was probably because we ran into them 10 minutes earlier. After 5 mins of 'negotiations', we realised they weren't having any of it and headed off. We ended up at a greasy spoon in Southwark with the same bean to sausage ratio of yours. It was all good though.

See you at the next one.

  • They weren't best pleased when we blitzed through the police line!

No worries dude I felt bad holding you guys back as you seemed to be longing for the open road sprints! I'll get a better nights sleep next time and lay off the booze. Will not lay off the cooked breakfast though, it was like heaven on a plate
