Whats the deal with this then?

How many people from each team actually get to race is it two or three? I thought that it was just 2 and the 3rd was a reserve. Does this mean I would be a reserve reserve?

you could easily slot into the no1 spot there mikec...didnt you do under 21sec in the qtrs? badtmy's time is good enough for the no2 spot as well

Best time was 21.07 seconds but I am certain I can get under 21 with a bit of a go on my turbo trainer during the week ;)

The final with the 1000metres is where I reckon my strength lies as I was able to pace it very well.

my quickest ever was a 20.37

my quickest at the last race was a bit slower than that but i have stopped smoking and now ride 38 miles a day to work and back rather than 6 so it could go either way.

But as i said. i've done plenty and don't mind if someone 'really' wants to do it.

I'm willing to order by best time and have the team be:

2. MikeC - 21.07

3. Sam - 22.17
   
   1. somebody - 22.48
      
      

So if that's 3 in the team and 1 reserve then somebody you'd have to drop. If you're cool with that then we'll go with that. But it's up to you really as to whether you're OK with that.

Once we've agreed though, let it stand without changes. It doesn't help to continuously change things as it will just leave everyone confused. A team we have, now we just need the people to come along and give you all the support that you deserve. I've still got tickets to sell for our allocation.

FYI - it's now teams of 2 plus 1 reserve.

If mikec rides for lfgss, then I'm guessing it's me and Jos for Rollapaluza (with badtmy as reserve?).

It's all academic. At the last minute, Rapha will get sweet talked by new teams from Rapha Recycling, Plowman Craven, Halfords Bikehut, and Quickstep, and we'll all be tossed into the pink merino void.

Are these events usually pretty chaotic then.
And yes its very incestuous. A bit like the world of advertising/marketing. Almost impossible to go anywhere without knowing someone from somewhere else. Not that I am in that world or anything mind!

i'd like to drink and enjoy the night. If thats not compatible with the lfgss ethos, then others should be riding.

I have vague aspirations to go under 20 seconds, but I couldn't give a fuck about winning.

Unless there are chocolate prizes.
