  • fuckin' hell, that's some treck, good to meet you and skullhead/chris evans too.

  • when will it ever end?

  • Right, new pub next week... you know you want to.

    Needs to be:

    • Cheaper.

    Would be good if:

    • It's next to the river.
    • There's enough outside seating that we can reserve for about 10 to 15 people.
    • The outside seating is near where the bikes are all locked (front of pub rather than beer garden away from bikes).
    • It's not so close to the main drag that it's full of wankers in the summer... we have bikes and can go the extra half mile that peds wouldn't.
  • your on.
it doesn't matter about railings, we can just lock 'em all up to each other.
    who's gonna do the scouting??
@prav, that gaykill is one sweet frame :)

  • What about that boozer you've already mentioned, Murt?

  • you won't go anyways :P
    The Ship??? http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/16/1640/Old_Ship/Hammersmith
@prav, got 2 stems in my bag, give me a tinkle later and you can meet me for them, gonna go to the rocket after work.

  • i missed you guys last night. choose where you want for next week as far as i am concerned as long as it sells the Super G.

  • I got lost on the way home again. My sense of direction when out west is fucking awful.

  • and splatbucket, you rode that bike through Mottingham? I had a wavey armed D-lock moment coming through that cycle tunnel in Clapham last night, let alone through eltham / mottingham...

  • you won't go anyways :P

    great pub choice.

  • Couldn't make it last night, had to meet Roberto with a frame, but up for next week, especially if it's the Ship.

  • Ship is good - complete with frisbee area / creche.
Today I shall resurrect the celebrity thread for VB's benefit..

  • you won't go anyways :P

    Already working on it :0p

  • Excellent evening all.

Best throwaway line from the evening - courtesy of Splatbucket - "yeah so I was working in Greenwich anyway and thought I would swing by..."

You sir, are the embodiment of HTFU and we salute you.

  • @aroogah, thanks for the disc's man.

  • @aroogah, thanks for the disc's man.

No problem. Will have a bash through the collection and bring some more tunes next week. Currently listening to John Lee Hooker's "Bluebird" and pretty dang sure that will make it onto the list.

  • Skullhead

Fcuk you. At least I could actually afford that pub last night, cos of my clever idea of Ginger Productions (aka african sunset prods) that made TV hits such as Big Breakfast and Don't Forget Your Toothbrush. And I'm famous. You cnut.

Props to Luke! And I thought my ride was a bit far last night. When you got to about Nunhead, that's the same distance I rode last night. Then you rode the same again. I guess you're only a nipper though, lotsa energy.

Names to faces, blah de blah...

thanks corny for making me cough.
    thanks prav. Sick bike, man!
thanks to the rest for making me very welcome.
thanks emily for talking to me on the way back.

    where's the neurofen...
    skully

  • Another fine quote:

    "Those stupid chickens"
Dale, on discussing why he eats meat, puts the blame firmly on the chickens.
