I was doing so well on the way back...all smug and thinking...yeah...I TOTALLY timed this right...It chucked down on me from Wandworth to Putney (all uphill) and came close to getting blown over by some of the gusts. It was wierd seeing VB+1 as I came out of the Threshers near my house though. (me in USPS hat)..that was high on the unexpected scale.

It was really outstanding to meet all of you in the flesh yesterday and at the drinks on Thursday night.
