Nice one slack. Just back from 'training'.. I need to work hard!
-
• #4
are they full up yet?...thinking of entering Rollapaluza team too....
-
• #5
yeah, full right up. they are going to try and lengthen the route to allow more riders but i expect these space will be filled by people that have already entered if they become available. we had our entry form in 2 days after they were released to get a space.

I am the only member who is riding SS at the moment.. This is a request for some forum peer pressure to get Roberto, Slack, and my anonymous friend to HTFU! I have gearie bts ready to go on if I will slow everyone else down.
My 'training' has levelled off and my knees hurt.. I'm riding about 130-150 miles a week, almost all of it is in my 23mile commute.
I did an offroad lap of RP yesterday in 35 minutes.. I'm plan to build up to doing 2-3 of those laps twice a week. is that good?
Roberto, Tommy, Object, MrSmith, infact anybody who wants to do some offroading please HELP me get out more - Any advice appreciated - only 8 weeks left!
Thanks, Prav x -

Prav. The diary is packed until our move in date of the 9th.
After that I'm in. Every Saturday until the event? -
• #10
Actually I can probably do the Bank Holiday Monday if you're free too.
-
• #11
ooohhh - I can feel the bromance growing in my heart - you're on mate!
That 20kg lump of metal you ride should handicap you enough that I will look fast.. right? -
• #12
Possibly. What ratio are you pushing?
Bear in mind that I've got the fat tyres for added drag and it's only a 38*16 SS or 38*18 Fixed. -
• #13
Tommy, stop watching the thread and put your damn name down ;]
-
• #14
34x16 / 34x17 fixed. its been good to me :-)
Tommy - bring the baby-blue-bodge..
Would Hippy dig out his GT if I promise him it will count towards his training? -
• #15
I'm still gonna get you out riding dude - not this weekend or next but maybe the 10th/11th. This time you need to HTFU and do the extra miles to the station instead of getting a lift :-). How about the Surrey Hills Killer Loop with some added singletrack next time?
-
• #16
Killer loop is a definite.. I'm on it. After the last ride i was frustratingly under-knackered.
I prefer getting the train, hopefuly James will read this and buy a bike-rack or STFU and train it from Clapham like the rest of us Londoners.. -

I can't do the bank holiday w/e I am away. I might beable to do sat p.m but would not beable to get to Watlerloo until 1pm I think.

34x16 / 34x17 fixed
I suspect you're lighter machine will make the climbs a lot easier, but I'll kick your ass on the way back down or along the flat (hopefully) ;]

so who's going to come up and support us? There's a campsite and bars and we'll need some mechanics if anyone wants to help?
