The poorest most socially deprived council wards in the country are in TH. Stir in a nicely simmering smack problem, and sprinkle with gang culture and hey presto. 5 years ago it was a warzone between Brick Lane and Camden gangs with a running knife, hammer and machete battle down Bethnal Green Road with 50 kids and vans driving round kidnapping each other.
