adoubletap
ads Really nice looking black Bob jackson in new cross - went up OldKent Road. Very nice bike. I would have said hello ( was on a fuji bike covered in tape - not good to look at) however have man flu and am pretty unsociable in the mornings at the mo. Also, if you are on here, how did you get in front of me at after Waterloo Bridge? Can you morph time some how?
How do you do! Seen you loads of times on your Brompton before today. Actually thought there was something wrong cos normally you're way faster than you were today ;)
Do you go through Borough/Union St/The Cut from Bricklayers roundabout? That is quieter but longer/slower than going through E+C and up the bus lane on London Road to bottom of Waterloo Road. Only other shortcut I've got is going up Neal Street to top of Shaftesbury Ave instead of Drury Lane to get to Centre point.
I will say hello next time I see you, my man flu is on the wane today. The Brompton is currently on holiday in my kitchen since I got a bike with proper sized wheels. I used to feel quite fast on my brompton, however the normal sized Fuji is much faster. My knees were getting really beaten up with doing about 10,000 rpm on the Brompton to keep up with the traffic. I still love that bouncy bouncy bike though! However only use it for mixed mode transport now. I would also be interested in using it for Polo, could be awesome.
I use the Borough/Union St/The Cut from Bricklayers roundabout, however may change as the lights are pretty annoying, however there is a good green grocers up there.
How long have you had that bike, looks pretty smart and new?
