It's usually 20 - 25 miles most days and a little more some other days. I live in SE London and go across town to South Ken., K'bridge or Bayswater. Feels pretty routine nowadays, but back in 2000 I used to commute 4 miles each way from Ealing to Hammersmith and it used to completely knacker me out.
