I have visited here many times and followed a lot of threads ...some are very amusing ....but you are overly scathing and real unhelpful too, in fact ........... most of the time.
I have yet to find a single piece of easy to follow good advice on what is good on a cheap start off bike. You all have your heads up your arses ......we cant all afford to travel across the city to your fav LBS and get an off the peg conversion. We cant all spend hours measuring and building or searching for parts we know nothing about.
I DO NOT want to start off on a fixed gear ............. I want to start off on a one gear fast bike.
Just try this ....................* "yes, the bikes are OK but" or "are not an ok entry level ride" "get it its a good base bike but change the brakes & heres how"* ..........
See, it is so much fncking easier and far more helpful to say that than to post endless crap comments and snobby cut and paste articles
FFS give us newbies a break and some easy to follow help .......................... ?????
