  • too much alone time ;-)

  • Yeah me and Architect work together and go on a few rides with some other dudes. Anyone wanna join if u see us is cool!

  • you and architect have cool bikes

  • i don't know, also a result of the bruise. all i remember is goin fast, thinking shiiiit, then braking really hard, then a feeling of my face rubbing against the tarmac, then coming to with 2 concerned gentlemen asking if i'm ok. thought i'd just been an idiot, but they did drive off rather rapidly when a friend recognised me. i think they just turned left infront of me, and i managed to fall off before i even hit them.

the bike is fine, and i'm healing fast! its only me little finger, i reckon it'll be fine soon.

  • very pretty machine skoota, nice bumping into you on sunday. I really should take an updated photo of mine... when i can be bothered to go to mile end to pick it up!

  • Probably about time I did this.

    This is me

And here's a couple of bad photos of current bike,

Hopefully not mine for much longer, I want my Jackson back.
I dropped by polo last Sunday and said hello to a few people, next time I'll try and be a bit more sociable

    Tim

  • Now I just need to work out why they're so small

  • what hubs are they?

  • small ones

  • Shinscar, just in case you could possibly be asking me; they're the (unmarked, small) ones that came with the Fuji when I bought it new

  • you're linking to the thumbs, not the main images (edit out the "_thumb" part of the url)

  • Thanks RPM, but now they look really horrible.
I'll have to try harder next time.
btw after I'd typed 'I want my Jackson back' I couldn't help singing

  • Here's some unartistic photos of my new Sunday best track bike (which I bought despite not having finished my Raleigh...). It's never been ridden on the roads by anyone, to my knowledge:

Obligatory 'kitchen trackstanding' shot for vague face reference - just before I fell into the washing machine because I haven't ridden this bike outside the kitchen yet:

I will indeed be changing the bars and stem (Agata has dibs on the bars...stem is poss still up for sale/trade). And I have a keirin brake in the mail!

  • Hey Vic, nice bike - it looks pristine...loving the GTish seat stays. Glad to see you won out in the end despite the auction 'going public'
