Unfortunately not. I didn't end up using it. According to some custom Harley forum I looked at a while back, It gives a more subtle effect. Another advantage of white is it blends better if you have two base colours.
I was going to use it over a white base a while back. Any other colour flake on white base would have looked like it had dirt in the paint when the light wasn't on it.
I think the way to get the most intense effect is to use a large chrome/silver metal flake, then a candy colour over the top.
