  • RPM what, like "Crime goes on publicly whilst bystanders and police do nothing"

"Brick Lane, 'No Go Area' Crime Hotspot, Police Scared to Enter"

a far cry from the multi cultural, hip and happening love-in that people might have you believe

I thought that one of the news feeds might buy into it if you put a blatantly obvious 'environmental/green' angle on it, they love that shit right now.

How safe is it to go green in London kinda thing ?

  • "we're all being told to get on our bikes, but would Boris Johnson be so keen if some CUNT did this to his bike?"

  • nice spin, like it.

but the fact that cars get vandalised too might help pull it all together, after all who gives a shit about some cunt's silly little "push" bike?

scratch their beloved motor car and the whole country rises up in outrage

  • nimhbus "we're all being told to get on our bikes, but would Boris Johnson be so keen if some CUNT did this to his bike?"

    Good idea !

If you could put a link into Cameron and Johnson and their 'green' antics, also Ken's drive to get everyone of their bikes.

Contrast that with the reality of cycling in London.

  • .

  • I expect he has.

    most people have.

cars are cheap really, compared to public transport

  • that rear wheel is fucked, hub might be salvagable, same as front rim. looks like it has been attached by a hammer.

but seriously this is why i have commuter/bash bike, and leave my better one at home. i don't know how yu didn't instinctively throw something through his window, thats whats got me baffled.?!?

  • eeexcellent

  • points for creativity.

  • both rims are fucked, rear hub is too. never seen a hub flange bent that much.

  • Something about that house frontage suggests an occupant with a territorial disposition :S

  • i think lock one-million bikes there!

i bet its been mentioned already

  • 6 Woodseer St. E1.

What shall we have delivered then?

Fake court summons? Pest Control? Black Mail letters with 'cut out' letters? Ransom notes!?

  • .

  • Sorry to hear about this. I'd say it is the guy who popped out from the window above for a number of very good reasons:

    1. He said that you should have asked permission; he obviously felt aggrieved/angered
    2. He wouldn't deny doing the damage. Even a good liar could have said, 'nah mate, I heard some banging noises and looked out but no one was there, fuckin' kids eh, would you believe it!?'
    3. It was dark, he was directly above the bike how could he possibly even see the damage and yet he knew it was there because he wasn't surprised when you asked him about it

Thus I conclude my case. It was the cunting coward in the window.

Top work on the photos MA3K. Are we sure this is the 'correct' picture location?

Half bricks thru each window, followed by a couple of molotov cocktails?

  • VanUden Are we sure this is the 'correct' picture location?

    99.999% sure.

    Right street/neighbourhood -check
    Near the restaurant - check
    Grated/newspaper covered windows - check
Opening windows directly above - check
Other instances of above conditions down length of street - negative

  • Plus flip a description of the guy would be handy. Fat/thin, 30/40, white/black/green, bald/blonde, etc. etc..

    Cheers.

"This is Brick Lane, my friend." :P

  • Might be able to get some dry ice if you guys want. Gradually mix it with meth spirit in a thermos flask and you have a liquid at -80ish degrees C.

  • you can do lots of fun things with dry ice.....

  • I spy a Yale lock.

Superglue in lock - simple, yet effective. The end result being that he has to destroy some of his own property (assuming that he wants to get back into his home), just because he had the temerity to leave it unsupervised on 'Brick Lane, mate'.
