BringMeMyFix @hippy - I saw a load of blue flashing lights out my window on Old St (near St Luke's Church) about 7ish. Police, ambulance, stretcher on pavement, etc.
Is that what you mean? I was too busy cooking/eating spaghetti to do any long-distance rubber-necking.bigben
rg37 what happened for you to stack it?
Going along Old St heading east just before 7pm last Tuesday, not much other traffic, an oncoming car decided to turn right fast across my side of the road presumably without looking, I piled straight into him, put my head through the window as demonstrated by the wounds to my head, face and neck. I guess I shouldered the car as well as my collar bone is stuffed; I don't yet know as I was out for the count. Very lucky to be all still here.
Maybe it was bigben?

A couple of days ago on Pitfield street, near Hoxton a nice chap riding a blue Cannondale track frame with a Hed front wheel. I said hello, he looked surprised about the whole affair
-
• #1564
this afternoon about 2.45 saw a chap on a tasty black Bob Jackson (I think) smashing it down fitzjohn's avenue from hampstead to swiss cottage, being closely followed by a pair of fat coppers enjoying some crisps whilst driving.

I used to blast down fitzjohns on my way to school.
There are LOTS of private schools on fitzjohns ave, so naturally there are lots and lots of 4x4's between 8 and 9AM, which means double parking, families walking out between cars, etc etc.
It's amazing I haven't crashed there.

Nah, the lights changed before I could come up with "witicisms" based on two-marins or something. Strangely, I got away a tad quicker than him, so by the time I looked over my shoulder, he was a small, Hi-viz, pin-PRICK in the distance.

witicisms not required,
a simple "John Prescott, OI John Prescott!" really loudly does the trick.
got a mate who does that, so far he's done Charles Kennedy (who laughed) and Helen Mirren (who was not at all amused)
it's great because it's not abuse, and they can't do a fucking thing.
I would have called Prescott a fucking fat bit of shit though.

you're forgetting when he did Neil Hamilton in soho square :
'OI -is that Neil Hamilton, the Convicted Perjurer and Thief?'
at the top of his lungs

it was him. i can verify the siting - we both clocked him and knew, instantly.
-
• #1574
Maybe his health insurance paid out for the Pinarello? :)

I'm glad we dropped him, I didn't fancy him drafting me, even with brakes!
What are you talking about?! Mal was with me! :P
