Fixie Inc ( Cycles for Heroes )

Ex messengers from Germany that have started there own thing a little while ago. Being imported / sold by mosquito now in the UK.

I like the fact that one of the bikes is called "Betty Leeds". :)

The straightcurve stem and fork sure look purdy...

Anyone seen them in the mirror polished flesh?

anth (guy who runs http://www.citycycling.co.uk/ ) has got one. I was gonna get one from hubjub before I got my IRO, but they didn't have any left in my size.

Fixie Inc fell out with Hubjub apparently, which is why Mosquito took over. Not entirely sure why the Peacemaker frameset price has gone up from £295 to £415 though... Loved the new Blackjack. And the Betty Leeds. And the Pure Blood.... Christ, I'm turning into a Fixie Inc groupie.

A friend of mine has one and the clearance on the front is quit huge though, but they look really good.

i think i saw this at an intersection once, heading up blackfriars. i was at the lights heading for london bridge. ha, i knew it was a Fixie Inc. nice one.

saw the betty leeds and the blackjack at the show. well finished machines. understandably very popular

The only thing I don;t like about the Peacemaker is the rear spacing - can;t understand why they didn't go for 120mm.

Got some of these in Mosquito. Nice to look at...but the name!?? That's a turn off for sure.

The guys at mosquito must be desperately trying to peel all those stickers off. The strap line is more offensive though.

probably because of the harsh 'x' in fixie.

loads of people didn't like the macbook name, apparently because it's got a harsh 'ck' sound in it, compared to the ibook.

why do you care if people don't approve of you buying a built up one?
