provenrad Or did you just buy them at Brick Lane bikes.. ;-)
I was in London some time ago and I found BLB to be quite expensive... from what I read here that isn't just an impression, right?
-
• #28
no they are quite pricey... sadly :/
-
• #29
they riding on the crest of pop!let's all stop riding and the prices will drop.
yeah right!like im goona stop.
I was looking in the window this weekend past and some dude walked by with some wheels in his hand whispering in my ear not to buy stuff from there.
but now they have those cool looking noodlespoke i might hand them my cream.

they are no more pricey than london fields or bicycle magic. aside from the plugs, fujis and fillmores, most of what they offer is bespoke. or is that 'bespok'?
-
• #31
have you seen the blb site is linking to the video of deal or arrospok that was posted up on here?
-
• #32
By "bespoke" you mean "used" or "old" or "second hand"? :)
-
• #33
Yeah they're cashing in but doing it pretty well. I have to say they've been good to me in there. Even sold my crappy old Haro shredder for me, which they really didn't have to or want to do ... Jan sold me a 2nd hand Record front hub for peanuts last summer, it's bloomin marvellous too.

i went to mosquito once. the bemulleted twat working behind the counter treated me like i was a piece of ebola-ridden newly ejected phlegm. i couldn't get their crappy track pump to work so he did it for me, with much sighing, misery and dismay, all the while showing an asscrack bigger than Doris Salcedo’s Shibboleth, and pumped up the tyre till it burst then told me i had a puncture. what a cock. i so wanted to take the aforementioned shitty track pump and inflate his head until it exploded all over the walls, thus matching that oh-so-unique, projectile-vomit pegoretti colour scheme.
but of course, i sighed, paid for a new tube and walked out, feeling crappy, while the mulleteer went back to tossing off his micro-peni through one of the holes in his chamois pad, eyes glazed over, lovingly, at the mere sight of the spectacularly revolting soma build on the wall opposite.
