Advanced meaning
"We have developed bicycles that are much lighter and easier to maintain then traditional 10 speed roadbikes. We call them "fixed gear" bicycles. Because of this "fixed gear" you are not able to coast and therefore don't need any brakes. Or anything else for that matter !
