That's silly.
Hammer = tool/weapon that you have to explain if you're stopped and searched, and also - should an altercation arise - a sign of premeditation.
D-Lock = something every cyclist has, and if you were to go to court, you could use the 'I just lost it and hit his car with the first thing that I got my hands on' approach.
