The pole one might work but I'm afraid that it'd have to be too far out into the room to miss the curtain rail and block the kitchen door.. and we certainly can't stop hippy accessing his kitchen now can we?
Similar problem with the second one but it's more to do with the top part of the rack having to rest on the glass, unless I can find a really tall version and even that would have to clear the curtain rail.
These fscking flats weren't made for bikes. If only I had a garage..
