I agree with you 100%.

They are not doing us a favour, that is not my point, they are trying to offload some spare pedals or a set of wheels they have come by.

I think we can all agree on the motive.

And I would rather buy some cranks from some bloke who has 6 sets he got cheap in Japan/US rather than funnel my money into a large company like Evans or Wiggle.
