Who was the Chris Hoy - wannabe on the black Condor Lavaro with helmet and blue jacket who tried to draft me up the start of South Lambeth Road this evening?
Swung out wide and told him to fuck-off, anyone here? -
• #1353
Did anyone else see the guy in an Assos jacket riding a fixed Bianchi (celeste so not the Pista) with a rear wheel puncture through Stockwell/Clapham tonight? I reckon that rear rim will be fubar'd now.

I don't know/think so on the facial hair I had just taken off from a junction, minding my own business, little way down the road noticed someone trying to get a free ride - annoying.
It was about 6.20.

if he had a big beard and drop bars with proper brakes and hoods (rare on a lavaro) it could have been my mate webby, he'd only be playing with you, but he's not the sort to be too much of a cunt.

he's an ex courier and we know they are all cunts and would take anything that's free whether they needed it or not, i'm surprised he didn't ask you to carry his bag.

the commute to the job is proving rich for this thread, before i had even got to brixton this morning i saw two on railton road, tall guy on an old converted raleigh, single speed, then just after a guy an old red condor with red rims. both nice bikes but the pick of them was on kennington road. a guy on a pearly pink mtb conversion (i think - defo not road geometry) with mudguards. really nicely done and put together, chris king headsets and the like. he was wearing one of those rasta style hats

I see the rasta guy all the time round Clapham, Stockwell, he has a lovely bike and is brightly coloured in everyway

RPM
pj
illy Guy on pale green Condor with Rapha hat and shorts bombing it along the Victoria Embankment this morning.
i wouldn't admit to this stockbroker's get up if it was me. i'd keep very quiet indeed.
as quiet as a MOUSE..perhaps
Not me I was wheeling my bike along Brick lane wearing a pair of women's jeans, vans and with a courier bag slung over my shoulder (mint condition, brim full of Apple products) :op -

Hops battling north over Tower Bridge at about 6pm, I was on foot and you were gone before i could shout. Ello Luv!

lovely fix outside TATE modern this evening, liberty badge, curly seat tube, crazy top tube, yellow rims and red tires. i really liked your setup - only one suggestion: put a second lock on that! maybe the TATE is safe, but i don't trust anywhere in london unless it's for less than ten minutes.

Even though I'm in tropical Glasgow, I want to play just this once. In the bike shed at Gartnavel General - to my utter astonishment - a rather new-looking Condor Pista. Selle San Marco saddle; tiny little Cateye lights; looks like it's singlespeed rather than fixed. All this detail is superfluous, cos I've never seen one up here before. Who's the owner, eh? They're bound to find their way to this website eventually. I'll just keep my fingers crossed that they make it to page 27 of this thread. :-)

You wouldn't have to even ride down, you could just sit there and let the flow of humanity sweep you along...
@PJ, no worries dude, it's the canal for them after all! Dead prossies and all...

You should, Scot. Every time I see a brown mountain bike I wonder if it's you, even if the riders never have enough metal in their heads. :-P Actually, I wouldnae mind a look at one of your bags if you are in Glasgow sometime. Not that I doubt the fine inhabitants of the forum or photos of the bags with people in them. I want one cos they look great. I don't need one cos I've got a Timbuk2 that's only about six months old. That might change if I had one of yours in my hands, though.
