What can be deduced from the photo? well, it looks like campag components in the gear department with some stylish hoods covering the carbon levers, coupled (or not - can't see any cables at all, not even on the gear mechs) to carbon disc brakes. why we need discs (probably hydraulic) on a road bike is quite beyond me,
if you do a quick gooooogle search, it can be found that mr campag has patented a fly by wire gearshift system and shimano are beavering away on an electronic dura ace system. is it possible that something like that is on there?
also, will disc brakes not prevent the rims overheating on long descents? rims can get so hot, the glue holding the tubulars on melts. it's set up as a time trial bike so i'm a bit confused about it.
as for some porn, here's a merlin - look at the lugs on her!
[/quote]If it was fillet brazed and looked even halfway clean then yeah that would look ok but that engravery and some lumpy soldering? nahh

That's a very high quality TIG weld in Ti ! not (silver) solder so no chance of fileing it smooth while it's still soft like a fillet brazed joint to hide any mistakes or poor workmanship. Agree on the engraving being a bit to much but the rest of the lugwork (and bike) is very nice ..

Sex. A bit of an odd combo, imho, what with the retro Brooks saddle and hi-tech stem and the such. But sex nonetheless.
... There really is something about those Canny track frames that makes me feel all warm and jealous.
And may I ask where those copper-y hubs are from? -
