asm I dont like that at all. It basically means that people are getting stolen bikes legitimately, from exactly the same place they'd be getting them anyway!! The police aren't going to spend enough time trying to find the rightful owner, and you can't exactly argue with someone who's bought your bike FROM THE POLICE. Really poor idea.
They're not even "real" police! Community officers have only so much rights.
