it seems that the guy selling the stuff on ebay is genuine, he probably only bought it from the thief.
-
• #332
So, he's fencing stolen gear.. and what makes people steal shit? The knowledge that people will buy the shit they stole.
Don't buy stolen stuff. "Oh, I didn't know" even though it's 1/10th RRP.. whatever. -
• #333
not saying he's on our side, just pointing out he's probably not the thief.
-
• #334
it would be good if someone could leave feedback or hack into his account or something putting a warning that this guy sells stolen stuff.
-
• #335
actually briankwan have you used the "report item" function on ebay to report all your stuff as stolen? don't know what happens but i imagine not much.

Bah,
I had my Langster stolen a month ago its not the worlds best but I loved it and its distinctive, The bars are bullhorns made by flipping the drops and cutting them back and its a 48 16 so whomever has it has sore knees or really is a cunt for buying such a stolen bike, I looked down brick lane but no joy.
However if you see it PISTE 36hole hub on front with mavic cxp33 original black shitty whhel on back, new armadillos dirty harry lever
a few chips on the top
I suspect its in bits now but you never know.... -

Arrrgh, nicked from outside my front door sometime last night (SW2), 2007 rust langster, bullhorns, fixed dmr chain tugs, mks steel pedals with clips and christophe straps, freewheel was removed, front brake only, new schwable tyre on the back (a day old) top tube and seat post covered with innertubes, bike is police registered but doubt it will help. I will list and post a pic in stolen bikes, but with so many langsters around these days who knows

-

previous bike was a MTB, langster was my first fixed
-
• #344
i saw a white on-0ne track fixed for sale down brick lane on sunday any one had one stolen recently?
-
• #346
Dunno about that Langster, I emailed him* to ask about the size and you get a very formal office email footer (some blue chip company) with all sorts of contact details, i think he's more money than sense rather than anything more dodgy... but who knows?
incidentally its a 53 or a 54
- and no, I can't believe i wrote and inquired on the frame size, but two people on here have beaten me on ebay frames this weekend and i was starting to get frustrated. Curses to having to go to people's weddings in the north and therefore being away from the computer...

Don't know if anyone else saw this, was down brick lane early yesterday, probably around 9-9:30. Loadsa community support officers and few coppers were with some market inspector type people. They were selling off bikes that they'd confiscated off the little crims down there. Spoke to one of the community officers and he said they'd tried to track down the original owners with no luck.
Only really took notice because out of all the usual mountain bikes and hybrids there was a black Langster, chopped and flopped drops, spds etc. small size sold for £120.
I dunno how hard they try to track people down, but may be worth checkin there in the future... -
• #348
Cake, that sounds suspiciously like Brett's langster. Black with bullhorns and SPDs...
-
• #349
