There is a clearly indicated link with as much information as I have ever seen on a bike, right down to the condition of the brake pads and the length of the cranks in millimeters !? Which part annoyed you, the need to click on the link ?

So why hold back? I know it was rude, but I'd rather help prevent anyone who reads this forum from (IMHO) wasting money.

Your attempts to protect people less wise than yourself from losing their money is largely a waste of time, people will enjoy making these kinds of decisions for themselves.

im all for views being shared as im sure you have noticed....people were harsh,i know...but its life.i feel he needs to take it on the chin join in,gives some banter back...not storm off.

i don't really like it when people just come here register and starting selling stuff. whilst it's good stuff sometimes i do find it annoying.

i feel that there is a bit of over-reaction at some point, if it's a first time poster i'd think it's better to take a bit of a more gentle approach and maybe explain to him/her that we don't like it this way. Yet this guy, no matter how nice he is in real life should learn some forum etiquette and understand that this is a community and not a marketplace, especially it's not his first time here, doing the same sort of thing.

People are different, some people do get offended by nasty remarks on the back of what he might have thought was a fairly benign gesture - stick it on LFGSS before feeding it into the ebay/gumtree machine ?

Anyhow, I think this thread has run its course for me at least, and a few issues are getting conflated into something I doubt will be resolved, there will always be people who want to lay down arbitrary rules for others and there will always be people who are uncomfortable with that.
