I've chatted to this bloke and am going to look at it after work... seems cheap and will make an ideal winter ss hack i reckon... what y'all reckon, good idea or a no go?
Check the BB when you look at it. Some of the Viscounts used a proprietary BB which had cartridge bearings pressed into the BB shell and a BB spindle with no taper and funny locking bits for the cranks. They are pretty much impossible to replace (although someone on NYCbikes website (I think) used a phil BB spindle as a replacement) and will be a huge hassle if you want to change the cranks or the BB length. Google for more info
Thanks Momentum, very helpful, will have a butchers when i'm there, will google first so as i know what i'm looking at.
