Saw a bunch of forumengers in Belgium the other day.. I think they were lost..
-

I think I saw BadDesigner and Vic, the other night outside Noodle King on Bethnal Green Road.
The girl said 'nice bike', which made me smile
What bike does Vic have? it's got 650c wheels or something similar - it's just that my friend, who's 4' 11" wants a bike and she's having a bugger of a job finding something small enough...
-
• #880
That's what I'm thinking, but I'm buggered if I know where to get them...
Any suggestions?
I've still got your 'what a c...' cards from Wayne by the way

Indeed taht was us and I did say nice bike to you! Felt a bit of a prat afterwards though, ha, you looked slightly alarmed! ;D
Cha I have a tiny 46cm yellow bike with 24" wheels, kids Raleigh racer off ebay for £40. It's a little small for me - I have 650 Deep V's that i'll be building up in the new year which will raise me a few inches. If your friend wants a track frame, Harry Havnoonian at http://www.hhhracinggroup.com does a fantastic 650 pista.

addie Saw a remarkably sexy thing chained up on Shoreditch High Street, near the corner with Old St. A bike that is, rather than a madam.
Bright orange frame, with baby blue bar grips on either some straight bars or wee risers, and shiny pink hubs.Who's who's who's?!
(Grumpy as mine is no longer the most colourful bike on the roads of London...)
:(I met that guy a few months back, damned if I can remember his name though.

I saw/chatted to a dude on a grey and white condor this morning at the traffic lights onto Embankment from Blackfriars roundabout about government jobs.
Are there any other Whitehall mandarins lurking on here? I saw a matte black fixed/ss chained up oppposite the civil service club on great scotland yard (?) a fortnight ago... bike punks of the civil service unite!

flickwg @sano - kids track bike for your friend?
Sano That's what I'm thinking, but I'm buggered if I know where to get them...
Any suggestions?
How about a childs racing bike (steel), take it to a framebuilders, get some track ends put on and a respray while you are at it.
If you are getting it resprayed anyhow the trackends will not cost much more and a child racer will be cheapish any how and it would turn out nice in the end.

Not a bad idea...
I saw they have some teeny track bikes at Herne Hill - anyone know who made them/where they come from?
Thanks

Yeah, back on the bike again today though, Jonny. Legs felt a bit like jelly on Monday. I'm keen to try another long ride though...

nice one sparky. can be worth giving the legs a rest from time to time. glad the ride didn't put you off so will see you out there again soon.
