I don't think it matters much when you're 74 but this bloke is 59 or something and looks ten years older.

i think that's utter arse.
the fact is that being outside does weather the complexion, but if combined with a healthy lifestyle, (not smoking roll-ups and eating well), there's no reason why it should make you look 20 years older. You can look weather and look vital and healthy. The reason Lawyers etc don't look fucked is not because they don't work hard, because clearly they do ( evil though they may be), or because they work inside. It's because they don't smoke roll-ups, go down the pub most nights, drink cheap lager, come home to a big plate of chips and mini-kievs every. fucking. night.
