Their stuff is made in China, which isn't just a problem because of poor working conditions, it also means supporting a regime with an appauling human rights record. But 75% of most crap that we buy is made there! The only answer is to source fabric that hasn't been made in dodgy countries (which isn't easy, there aren't many out there) and make your own stuff, or wait for someone like smear to do it.
you can say that, but what country's regime isn't dodgy? america? for fighting their war against (of, more likely) terror? and this very country where we live? for supporting their ally?
it's not up to me to judge anything you say but it's not up to anyone to judge if you're supporting say, fascists (or any collective of, cnuts...), by spending your money on something made from somewhere. the hierarchy is way too complicated to put it that simply, even without the media owned by people from the above said countries painting the picture you see.
and by the way, who owns those factories? who runs them? aren't they the big capitalists? and mind i say if it's not like this you won't be able to own all the things sitting right in front of you, that maybe one should be ashamed and guilty about buying. it's just like most of the major bike manufacturers are owned by motor companies anyway.
