  • asm Nope. We did here charges placed against someone who had allegedly murdered one man, then attempted to rape and murder a woman though. He pleaded not guilty. I didn't realise that courts are open to the public all the time, so you can go in whenever (the court is open) and listen to a case. We were lucky (?) in that both the cases we saw were rather serious/interesting. Or maybe unlucky is the word. It was pretty serious stuff!

    You can find the proceedings for the Old Bailey trials from hundreds of years ago. Some of them have map references and stuff. Here's one from when Camden Town was jus' a little village with fields and cows.
