nix shimano, they are part of that elitist NJS conspiracy, they are amateurs at clipless to boot- the times and looks last forever and plus, they are large enough tthat I can ride them with regular shoes without having those goofy platform/clipless jobs or changing out pedals all of the time. And because their plates are larger, the force is more evenly distributed on the sole and breakage is less likely. I am however tempted by the illusive M2 ti pedal weighting in at a meer 95g! which would nicely offset the weight sacrifice I made when switching from a selle slr to a brooks team.
