its fixed, but not quite finished, I have a new chain ring coming, and I'd like to remove the cable guides and brake mounts, I just don't know how without messing up the paint, I am actually quite pleasantly surprised how well it rides

Thro the forum learnt more about bikes than is probably healthy, been on some great night rides, met loads of good people, watched loons on bikes do things that make my arthritic old knees wobble at the mere thought, can roll down clerkenwell road and nod at people on fixies that i know [well it makes a change from talking to strangers in Aldi] helped some pierced nutjob get a brand name and identity for his grobags. its been good.

Best: a Spesh Decibel helmet making my sweaty head issues disappear, and for the last few days the Katmandu £10 merino base tees and Pearl Izumi arm and knee warmer combo has been a joy.

Worst: it's been all good!

Spending £100 converting an MTB hybrid to single speed, only for the frame to snap on the second week.
Losing my Giro helmet on the train whilst pissed.

i rethought my worst:
My beautiful Trek MTB had just been nicked and i needed a bike fast as, so i bought an ammaco road bike.
FZXKING awful. I had to change so much just to keep it working.
