lol, no peejay78, i didn't play polo at all: the beers hit me quite quickly, especially after i gave my second bagel away to asm. and i was stood there for quite a while trying to figure it all out - particularly, the titanium question. cornelius, enlighten us please!

Certainly looks suspiciously like the lead piping from Cluedo to me. The Seat post clamp, now that looks like Titanium!

His spokes are probably safer with you riding on the bike.
Was it you who hit the ball that punctured that spectator's bike?

Way to be welcoming, hippo.[/quote]yeah, rock on. helen had a great time (i think!), she had a go on my fixe later and is now converted and wanting to get one! slight problem is budget, round about 200 quid, so i suggested she build one (so she can continue riding around on her pinarello in the meantime). if anyone's got any advice - or a small frame to use as a starting point, it would be great.

convert that pinarello dude - it is screaming out for it.ahhh... is the back bit not too wide? kinda considered it, but we didn't know if it was practical or not... so now i guess i just need to research wheels (that'd certainly be a lot cheaper, too)

Is it one of these.. ?

Do it do it do it! I'm converting an old road frame right now, and it actually needs NARROWER hubs than my pista. You can get 110 mm spaced hubs can't you? googles
Thanks for that bagle asm #2 :) Also thanks for the half of the beer that i didnt spill all over my feet :) Next time i'll buy you a bagle and a beer. Promise!
Cornelius, what's your frame made of?
