I really wouldn't leave a bike at Liverpool St. The one and only time I've done that, I caught a glimpse of all of the dismembered bike bits lying around everywhere and was paranoid and stressed out for the whole hour that it was there.
I'm guessing that you're in a managed office? On the plus side, that means you can get as obnoxious as you like with the building people without jeopardising your job too much. Gently remind them that you are their customer, and that your expectation is that they will find somewhere secure in the building for you.
