If only that actually had any protective qualities!
It does. It forms a mythical forcefield around you that will protect you.

  • hippy

A mask is not a helmet.

  • photoben
Jake I've searched topics as I thought there would be more topics on helmets, but there isn't.

The forum tends to stay away from helmet/no helmet, brakes/brakeless and RLJ topics cause it just leads to flame wars, trolling and girly bitching.
Yep. If we do start talking about any of them it's usually in a good way, like this :)

  • 'yeah, i can see myself wearing this every day no probs'

you see that is a problem, because they ALL look like shite, except perhaps a nice leather hairnet number worn over a cycling cap, but apparently if you hit your head wearing one of them ones it snaps your neck

  • @ the cat above GO VIKINGS
wearing hats will make you out as a fakenger immediately any of you with fakenger ambitions need not apply

  • not sure if its put up befor but always makes me laugh

  • melon cat again.

i have a specialized bmx style one, except i scratched out the end of the word so it just reads "special" in childish, fakenger attempt at humour.

  • it's actually a very large lime (on the cat) not a melon

I don't suppose that this revelation will cause too much consternation to anyone, really

  • A LIIIIIIIIIIIIIME!?!?!???!!!!!!!!!!!

    OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • rg37 nice idea

The Pulse Bicycle Safety Helmet has revolutionised the capabilities of the bicycle safety helmet....

.....Cyclists can now listening to their favourite music, answer their mobile phone and record cycling data without compromising their safety on the road.

    Right.

  • lol, just what I thought. How about a helmet that stops you from breaking your head open rather than a fucking PDA with a chin strap.

Does your head not get fierce sweaty with all the lack of airholes?

  • it has a few airholes. it's good for winter. i find i don't need a helmet in summer because the roads are that much softer.

it doesn't get too sweaty on your average day, but if i really overexert i end up perspiring like a dyslexic on blockbusters.

  • I couldn't wear one of those BMX lids.

  • "i find i don't need a helmet in summer because the roads are that much softer. "

Try tellin these boys that tarmac is softer in the summer.
